Grow together, on and off the field.

Some of the most important conversations athletes can have don't happen during practice. A cohort creates the space for those conversations to happen together...and continue over time.

What a Cohort Is

A cohort brings a group of athletes together for a series of mentorship conversations and experiences over time (multiple weeks)

Instead of trying to cover everything in one day, we get to build from one conversation to the next. Athletes reflect, share, listen to one another, try things in their own lives and sport, and come back with new experiences to talk about.

The goal isn't for everyone to think the same way. It's to create an environment where athletes become more curious about themselves and more confident taking ownership of who they're becoming.

What We Can Explore

Curiosity + Self-Awareness

Confidence + Self-Belief

Mistakes + Growth

Pressure + Expectations

Communication + Leadership

Comparison + Identity

Finding Your Voice

Ownership + Empowered Action

Team Culture + Connection

Why Do It Together?

There's something different about realizing you're not the only one thinking or feeling something.

In a cohort, athletes don't only learn from a mentor — they learn from one another. They hear different perspectives, practice speaking up, listen to their teammates and begin building a shared language they can carry back into their sport.

Over time, those conversations can change the way athletes understand themselves, support one another and show up within a team.

What the Experience Can Look Like

Every cohort can look a little different depending on the athletes and the group. What stays consistent is the opportunity to come together more than once, build on previous conversations, reflect between sessions and grow alongside one another.

Built Beyond Soccer is an ATHLETEHOOD cohort experience that brings this mentorship model to life through a structured series of conversations, reflection and growth.
